Europe
Europe is a geographical region of the world, commonly considered a continent based on historical-cultural and geopolitical factors. As a continent, it is the only one located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and forms the western end of the supercontinent Eurasia.
Europe covers about 6.8% of Earth’s land area, and about 10% of the world population with a total population of about 745 million. Politically, Europe is divided into about fifty sovereign states.
